Rembang, April 11, 2022 – PT Semen Gresik (PTSG) recreated a brilliant achievement for its commitment to the Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) program and success in sustainable business growth.

PTSG won two awards in the category of 2022 TOP CSR Awards # Star 4 (Four Stars) and the 2022 TOP Leader on CSR Commitment for the President Director of Semen Gresik, Subhan, which was handed over at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta. 

The Senior Manager of Communication and CSR of PTSG, Dharma Sunyata, attending to receive the award in person, expressed his gratitude and pride for the award at the prestigious TOP CSR Awards, which was initiated by TopBusiness Magazine.

"This appreciation proves that Semen Gresik is well recognized in terms of compliance with the provisions of ISO 26000 and environmental aspects, attention to CSV (Creating Shared Value) aspects, and CSR alignment to support the company's business to grow sustainably," said Sunyata in a press release, Monday (11/4/2022).

Sunyata continued, PTSG's participation in the TOP CSR Awards was the first time. In addition, the award for the 2022 Top Leader on CSR Commitment category was awarded to company leaders with a high commitment to supporting the completeness of the system, governance, and successful implementation of CSR in the company.

He expected that these two awards would motivate the company to continue implementing CSER based on the Regulation of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises No. 05 of 2021 concerning the SOE CSER Program.

Sunyata stated that the commitment of Semen Gresik's leaders is always present in the company's business planning, which places CSR as an integrated part of the corporate strategy.

Sunyata admitted that this award added to the series of achievements received by Semen Gresik in the field of community engagement. Previously, PTSG took second place in the category of Community Involvement and Development of Environmental Programs at the 2022 BUMN Corporate Communications and Sustainability Summit held by the Ministry of SOEs. In 2021, PTSG also received the prestigious Nusantara CSR Award for the Community Economic Empowerment Category.

“All of these achievements are inseparable from the support from all lines of the company. We also express our gratitude for the stakeholders," he added.

The 2022 Top CSR Awards were attended by 850 leading companies from various business sectors throughout Indonesia for their effectiveness and excellence in implementing CSR/CSER/Community Development programs.
